This two-day workshop runs from 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday.
Day 1 is spent going over the history and processes of carving and printing. Students will make practice carvings to try out their design ideas.
Day 2 is filled with carving two actual blocks of your own design and printing them onto a cotton scarf.
There is a lunch break on both days.
This class is taught by Virginia Tucker of Virginias Scarves who has been block printing professionally for over 20 years.
Spacing is very limited and additional blank scarves will be available for purchase with cash or check at the event.
